Sewing 101: Pillowcase
Join us to make your very own pillow case! You must have a sewing machine or rent one from the shop. You should know the basics on how to use the machine including how to wind a bobbin, thread the machine, change the stitch type.
Kids ages 8-10 must have an adult present to sit with them and help them during the class.
SKILL REQUIREMENTS:
You must know how to use your sewing machine. This is a great class to take after the Learn Your Machine class. If you have any questions, please give us a call!
FABRIC REQUIREMENTS:
- 3/4 yard of main fabric
- 1/4 yard coordinating fabric for the cuff
- Coordinating thread
- Fabric Scissors
- Rotary Cutter and mat (we may be able to help with this if you don't have one yet)
- Ruler

*ALL SUPPLIES ARE TO BE PROVIDED BY THE STUDENT. STUDENTS SHOULD PROVIDE THEIR OWN SEWING MACHINE (LIMITED RENTALS AVAILABLE). STUDENTS SHOULD ARRIVE 10-15 MINUTES EARLY TO SET UP MACHINES AND MAKE SURE THEY HAVE ALL REQUIRED SUPPLIES. LATE STUDENTS MAY NOT BE ABLE TO BE ACCOMMODATED OR GIVEN REFUNDS*
