Intro to Quilting
Join us to learn some of the basics of piecing a quilt so you can feel comfortable working on more interesting projects! You will also learn how to properly use a rotary cutter as well as tips and trick for piecing a quilt top and how it's different from sewing other types of projects.
Students must already know how to use a sewing machine (please take a Learn Your Sewing Machine class if you don't know how to thread the machine, wind a bobbin and change stitches).
Required Materials:
Sewing Machine
Scissors
Rotary Cutter
Ruler (any size should be fine - we have many in the shop)
Cutting Mat
Large Scraps or several Fat Quarters
Seam Ripper
Thread
