Advanced Learn Your Machine
Join us to learn more about your sewing machine! This is an advanced beginner class for those who have already taken a Learn Your Machine class and who have their own sewing machine. You will learn basic machine maintenance, what the various feet are that come with your machine, stitch length and width and when to use them, differences among needles as well as when to change them and an introduction to how to read patterns, pin, cut and meausre fabric.
Required Materials:
Sewing Machine (rentals not available for this class), manual and all parts
Machine Oil
Scissors
Pins
Ruler
Cutting Mat
Rotary Cutter (if you have one)
Fabric:
2 fat quarters
Foam interfacing size 18"x22"
(Fabric will be available as a kit at the shop for $10)
