Introduction to Foundation Paper Piecing
Paper piecing is an addicting technique in the quilting world. If you have always
wanted to attempt paper piecing, but the process seemed daunting, now is the time to jump on the
paper piecing bandwagon and sign up for this introduction course! We will be working on an a small
project that will give you the tools and techniques to take on paper piecing! After the class you’ll be
wondering why you didn’t attempt this sooner!
Class Supply List:
?Add a ¼” ruler (either size is fine)
?A piece of cardstock (bookmark size will suffice)
?Cutting mat (small one to use at your table), rotary cutter, seam ripper, thread, flat head pins,
small scissors to clip threads and any other quilting essentials you like to have on hand
?Sewing machine
?Bring fabric scraps in a variety of colors. You do not need yardage. Fat quarters and smaller
scraps will do.
?Iron if you like having one at your table
Student Prerequisites:
?Knowledge on how to properly work your sewing machine
Foundation Paper Piecing Supplies Checklist:
- Rotary cutter
- Cutting mat
- Cutting rulers
- Add-A-Quarter Plus and/or Add-A-Eighth Plus ruler
- Craft glue stick or matte tape
- Paper scissors
- Fabric scissors
- Seam roller
- Mini Iron
- Small ironing mat (wool mats work well)
- Seam ripper
- Tweezers
- Sewing pins
- Fabric clips (wonder clips)
- Quilt fabric
- Sewing machine
- Thread of your liking

**CANCELLATION POLICY**
Cancellations or changes to a class must be made no later than 72 hours prior to the class. Cancellations made 72 hours or less prior to the class are not available for refunds or store credits. Our class numbers are limited, and and such we need 72 hours or more to begin advertising the vacant seats in the class. We appreciate your understanding on this matter.
