
Intro to Applique the Lori Holt Way
Beginning Applique! Learn how to applique the easy way using interfacing and Lori Holt’s Sew Simple Shapes. You will learn a simple method for creating the shapes. You will make two blocks: one will be appliqued by machine and one will be appliqued by hand. Each block will measure 12.5” unfinished.
Sewing machine and extension cord
Basic sewing supplies (rotary cutter, rulers, scissors, seam ripper, etc.)
White thread

1-2 White/Neutral Fat Quarters (for the background)
Assorted Scraps and/or Fat Quarters for making shapes and sashing
