Bag Builder Series - Beginner Wristlet Handbag
Have you ever wanted to learn how to make purses and bags but feel intimidated by the number of steps and seemingly complicated parts like zippers? Our new bag builder series will start with a small, simple wristlet bag that features basic skills important for all bag making including a zipper, a strap, slip pocket, and mitred corners! Once you make this, you'll be ready to add to your skills and join us for our intermediate bag class!
During the first class you will learn how to cut and prep your fabric. You will need to have all fabric prepped prior to the 2nd class. If you cannot make the first class, please let us know and arrange a time to come in prior to the 2nd class for quick instruction on what to have prepared for the 2nd class.
*STUDENTS MUST KNOW HOW TO USE THEIR SEWING MACHINE INCUDING WINDING A BOBBIN, CHANGING A NEEDLE, THREADING THE MACHINE. IDEALLY STUDENTS WILL HAVE SEWN A SMALL PROJECT OF SOME KIND RECENTLY (QUILT, HEM, ETC.)*
